Our “Volunteer Job Skills Program” is like no other!  Candidates participating in this program have the option of volunteering their services to clients associated with Red Giraffe.  All candidates are tertiary qualified, highly capable and professional in their approach.

Candidates volunteer their services in the pursuit of industry exposure.  Although a time frame of 4 – 6 weeks is recommended, volunteer or internship programs can run for up to 8 weeks.

UNLIKE OTHER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS, our volunteer initiative is non-discriminatory.

No, we do not charge organisations wishing to engage a tertiary qualified volunteer.

Q.3 What areas of speciality can we utilise volunteers?

Red Giraffe provides training to tertiary qualified individuals across most faculties.  These include Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, IT, Trade, Business and other verticals.

Q.4 What do we gain from utilising this program?

All volunteers placed through Red Giraffe must meet the criteria for each position.  Each volunteer placed is tertiary qualified, highly capable and culturally aligned to our clients work environment.  As we do not charge for organisations to engage a volunteer, this program does not impact bottom line financial variables.  Should you consider transitioning a volunteer to permanent employment, our program provides the perfect opportunity in which to assess the skill set of high calibre individuals.

Q.5 What screening process does Red Giraffe have in place when screening volunteers?

Our volunteers must go through an approval process prior to taking part in our volunteer program.  Approval is based on defined criteria, competencies and required skill set for each volunteer position.  Each applicant is assessed and screened prior to being placed.
